About the role
You will own our deployment pipelines and production infrastructure across AWS and client-hosted environments. The goal is boring releases: predictable, reversible and frequent.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will decide how we deploy, not implement someone else's decision.
What you will do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PHP and Node applications
- Containerise services and manage them in production
- Set up monitoring, log aggregation and alerting that people trust
- Manage backups and rehearse restores before they are needed
- Harden servers and manage TLS, secrets and access control
What we are looking for
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering
- Strong Docker skills; Kubernetes experience an advantage
- Comfortable with Linux administration and NGINX
- AWS experience across EC2, RDS, S3 and CloudFront
- Scripting in Bash and at least one of Python or Go
